What is My Golf Insights?

My Golf Insights integrates with popular driving range technologies. To give players the kind of insights only accessible through expensive shot monitors.

My Golf Insights offers a range of stats to help:

  • Understand your game better
  • Track your progress
  • Make the most of your range sessions
  • Make better decisions out on the course, resulting in strokes saved on your game

How does logging in work?

Connecting your Toptracer account to My Golf Insights will allow you to load in your shot data. Giving you access to a wealth of stats on your golf game.

Once you login with TopTracer, the app will hold a logged in session with TopTracer. This is then used to pull your club and shot data from TopTracer. At no point is your password recorded, logged or stored.

How do my shots show after a range session?

Each time you hit more shots on the range, you need to load those shots in by clicking the "Pull shots" button on the Account page.

What does each stat mean?

  • Longest Distance - The longest shot ever hit with the club.
  • Average Good Distance - Average distance excluding any miss-hit shots.
  • Average Distance - Average distance including any miss-hit shots.
  • Average Good Carry - Average flat carry excluding any miss-hit shots.
  • Average Carry - Average flat carry including any miss-hit shots.
  • Average Offline - Average distance offline from straight, where the ball comes to rest.
  • Average Height - Average apex height.
  • Success Rate - Precentage of how many shots are not miss-hit. A sucessful shot will be one that's at least 80% the distance of an average shot and has a height of at least 2 yards.
  • Last Hit - Date of last recorded hit with this club.
  • Total Shots - Total number of shots recorded with this club.

What is Session Analysis?

Session Analysis enables you to track your progress with each club between sessions. Stats are calculated for recent sessions, then the difference between each stat is shown on screen as an increase or decrease.
